BigT and I had a date day yesterday.  Nothing big and fantastic, just a day out and about.  We ate at a new restaurant in town and were pleasantly surprised.  Food was very good, big portions and the service was fast and efficient.  We'll be going back again.  We trucked into Walgreens so he could get his flu shot.  Indications are that this is a pretty yucky flu...hope we got them soon enough.  The lady said it would be 2 weeks before full effect.  We were supposed to go over to the casino, but I nixed that idea (again)...my knee was killing me by the time we left Walgreens.  Don't know if medicare is going to get here soon enough!
Picked out some cookie recipes last night...we'll see if I get them done or not.  Need to make some more of my breakfast bars too.
BigT is working today.  Can't believe it's the middle of December and he is still able to take his Rascal to work.  It's a really 'gloomy gus' day here but it's 52 degrees and supposed to be even nicer tomorrow.
On a political note...the anti gun group has been handed a huge weapon to do away with guns...what ass-backward thinking.  The way things are going, the only ones with guns will be the goofballs on killing sprees.
