Just wanted to post a couple of pix for the BBBear. I picked the lettuce today and used the salad spinner you gave me. I loved it. It spun all the water out of the lettuce and now I won't get spattered with bacon grease when I make the wilted lettuce.
And for the Tgirl...wish you were here to have our first wilted lettuce with us. I am frying the bacon this afternoon and cutting up the green onions to go in it....a la Gramma!
I also picked another half dozen cukes so I have to cut them up and put them in the frig. Think I'll do them with the vinegar/water/sugar that Mom did.
